Nicușor Dan warns Russia is trying to expand the war in Ukraine: „They want to provoke other European countries”

President Nicușor Dan warned that Russia is trying to expand the conflict in Ukraine through provocations against other European states, including through drone attacks in the Black Sea. In an interview with Bloomberg, the head of state said that the incidents in which commercial ships are hit cannot be considered accidental and that Romania has requested additional support from NATO allies. Asked when Article 5 of the Alliance could be invoked, the president insisted that Romania does not want the conflict to escalate.
